Two (or more) for the Price of One

So the other day I was in the train station waiting for my train to arrive. Across from me was a mother and her two children, twin boys. This is obviously nothing that is at all very interesting or extraordinary, but this brings me to my rant. Why must parents of twins dress the kids alike?

They are not one person; they have two distinct personalities, and buying two identical sets of clothing does not give a discount price. So what is the purpose? It has no purpose and just looks asinine.

I can understand giving the kids, when they are babies an identical wardrobe; it makes it easier to purchase clothes, but have them where the same outfit on the same day is a little absurd. Are you trying to prove to the world that you actually did buy two sets of clothes for the kids and that you are not cycling the same outfits between the two of them? In that case, nobody cares because everybody is going to call them cute and adorable. Why? Cause they are babies, not cause they are dressed alike.

So if you are a parent of twins and dress them alike, you clearly wish you only had one child. If you are a parent of boy-girl twins and dress them alike in male outfits same applies Lastly, if you are the parent of boy-girl twins and dress them in female outfits; you wish you had one child and you have a sadistic sense of humor and I commend you for it but you should never ever have children.
